Davies photograph collection, ca. 1902-1915.

Photograph collection in two parts: One group of small (2 " x 3") prints consists of birds-eye-views of Globe, Arizona and images of mining equipment and buildings in the Globe Mining District probably taken by Davies. These include the Old Dominion Mine, Arizona Commercial Railroad, and the railroad station, between 1905 and 1915. The second group of photographs is an 8" x 10" set by photographer Walter Lubken. The Lubken photographs are portraits of Apache men and women, one group photograph of Roosevelt Dam construction crews, and one photograph of the Davies family at Tonto National Monument. The images of Apache women include a baby in a burden basket, an Apache camp, and a woman with a water jug.
